I began sim racing in 2020 with Assetto Corsa and Assetto Corsa Competizione. I mainly participated in open public lobby racing where I quickly found it difficult to get close battles with other drivers. To this day I constantly got crashed-out because of dangerous driving in public lobbies.
As it stands, the current choices for people looking to get a higher quality sim racing experience are the following:
Join a league.
Join one-off events on other platforms
Join daily races on external platforms with no stewarding system
Empty your wallet for iRacing.
While all are valid solutions, all face at least one of the following challenges:
1. Too much of a time commitment
2. No form of stewarding for incidents
That’s why I’m developing RACEIT - to provide a platform for high-quality sim racing without the time commitment.
